Two cultures, one bottle.
Hayden met Adrian in 2018, and shortly after, met mezcal in a bar in Mexico City. A staple of Mexican culture, the vibrant, versatile beverage can be found everywhere; around a fireplace, on the beach, at dinner parties. It was something Adrian had grown up with, but was a new experience for Hayden, giving the couple an opportunity to bring it back to the Land of the Long White Cloud. The heart of the agave, the piña, is cooked in much the same way as it has been for the last 200 years - similar to a hangi. The juices are then fermented and distilled, resulting in a unique, smoky, earthy flavour profile.
